  • We ship both sugars under HS code 1702.90, the heading for other sugars, which covers palm and coconut sugar. The digits after the first six differ by country, so your customs broker confirms the full tariff line for your import.

The products

  • Arenga sugar comes from the sap of the Arenga pinnata palm and has a caramel and mild toffee flavor. Coconut sugar comes from coconut blossom sap and is used as a one-to-one replacement for cane sugar. Both are single-ingredient, unrefined sugars. Compare both products.

  • Our standard is mesh 16 to 20. For arenga, our producing partner can go finer, up to mesh 22, on request.

  • 24 months in sealed packaging, for both sugars.
